how much wattage do i need?

Ive done power supply calculators and they "recommend" 1100 watts but i dont know how much i can get away with.

1. i5 4670 intel LGA1150
2. Asus z87-pro
3. Nvidia geforce gtx 760
4. 2x8 GB ddr3-1866
5. sata dvd/cd
6. ssd 128g
7. 2 1tb wd hdd

Future upgrades- i7, 2nd video card and 2 more 8gb ram

You can deal with a 500W power supply. Nothing major to power the machine.

That build would probably run on a high quality 500W unit, and adding a second GPU in the future would bump that requirement up to 750W give or take a few dozen Watts.

As stated a good 500-550 watt PSU will be just fine.

Look for 80+ Bronze or Gold rated PSUs from Antec, EVGA, Seasonic, XFX, Corsair (not cx/cxm because they use inferior capicitors that die under heavy gaming use) or Roswill Hive/Castone series (only one of those two series, their other ones like ARC are no good).

go to PCPARTPICKER.COM they tell you the average wattage as a whole system and then it is recommended to get 100-200W more than that just for upgrading and head room.
