Hey guys, I want to buy a 980 TI soon and I have a 600W seasonic psu(about 3 years old, not
something too fancy), will it be enough?
If not, how much will I need? also how much will one need for an SLI of those?(Out of curiosity
mainly)
Thanks!
By the way, the rest of my system:
Intel 4690K
H110 corsair
gigabyte z97x sli
Western digital black cavier 1 TB
Crucial ssd m4 128
GB 16 GB Kingston fury - 1600 mhz

Solution
Recommended 600w for a single card or 850w for a dual card sli. You can get away with less if its a good quality unit but its not a good idea, while running a cpu or gpu at near 100% for hours is ok it is not good practice for a psu

What's the exact model of the PSU? Anyway, Seasonic PSU's are usually good, but since it's 3 years old I recommend you invest on a new one. You need a 600W minimum for the 980 ti, I recommend this one (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220gs0650v1) if you dont plan on doing SLI and this one (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cp9020074) if you're sli'ing.
