Where did you get 550w and 30A from? The card is a 145w part so that works out to 12.08A and Nvidia recommend a 500w PSU.

Just used Power supply calculator, works out at about 375W at 100% load. Over estimated fans, and Usb devices plugged in. You have plenty of extra juice in a 500w supply
