Question How much will a RAM bottleneck performance?

Hi

I'm planning to get a Ryzen 5800X or 5900X series cpu and a RX 6900xt to replace my current setup. I currently have 4 x 8GB 2666 MHz RAM sticks. I've seen a news that says AMD recommends a 16GB 3600 MHz Ram for their systems and i want to ask, will my current Ram setup potentially bottleneck my gaming performance (fps) in the case I switch to the aforementioned combo?

I currently have an i7-8700K and a RTX 2080ti

I tried looking up as well but I'm getting mixed answers so far, while this YouTube video (

), shows that from a 2133 vs 3600 MHz there is a difference, can the same be said for a 2666 vs 3600 MHz? And regarding the number of RAM sticks i'm even more confused there, Some say for a Dual channel Motherboard 2 Ram sticks is good, but others say gaming performance is better with 4 x 8 GB ram when compared to 2 x 16 GB, aim for dual rank etc. Ultimately i wanted to know if upgrading my current set of RAM (4 x 8 GB Corsair vengeance Pro RGB) when i am able to get Ryzen 5800X or 5900X series cpu and a RX 6900xt is worth it or i should just stick with my current one.
