So I'm getting a build with a Ryzen 3 2200G and I'm wondering how much performance I will lose if I pair with 2400MHz Memory instead of 3000MHz Memory.

P.S. I won't be using APU if that changes anything much. It will also be dual channel.

That thread is about an i7 6700k which is something different than a Ryzen cpu which mostly does benefit from faster ram where an Intel normally takes less of a performance hit. Although even with Intel it has been shown that if the cpu becomes a bottleneck faster ram might alleviate it or just plainly give better results.

The how much difference for Ryzen is looked at in several reviews (google) and it boils down to how high fps you will have in the first place, but the higher the fps you have (depending on firstly the gpu but well as cpu) the bigger the difference will be.Still might "only" make a difference of 5fps.But 3000/3200mhz ram isn't much more xpensive than 2400mhz mostly so imo is it worth it to spend the little extra cash.
