Hi I am looking to bring some money in and probably sell my pc to do that. Maybe go for a cheap laptop or something to keep up with my studies. The PC liast is as follows

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/cZznxG

It was built in February of this year and all parts were bought brand new. I will not have included a copy of win10 should i sell it. Thanks for any replies. As of right now I have it for sale online for around 700 but im trying to get some perspective.

Edit: This is in the UK so it would be in £

Not having Windows installed really kills the marketability of the computer. With Windows everyone looking for a used mid/high performance gaming computer is a potential customer. Without Windows only techies looking for a deal will be interested. You lose probably 90% of potential buyers. As only someone knowledgeable about computers will know to bring a USB Flash Drive with something like Ubuntu installed to run diagnostics.

If you do something like install Linux. You'll get confused people. Especially people who don't know tech at all and just want a computer for gaming. The kind of people who you ask what OS they are running and they say Office and say their e-mail is Outlook. Not understanding Outlook is their e-mail client not...

If you want the most money and least hassle selling it. Have an activated copy of Windows 10 installed. It's about $25 for a Windows 10 Pro key on Kinguin.net.

Sell it locally for cash. There are plenty of apps like Letgo or good ole Craigslist (use a free temp burner number app like Talkatone). You don't want your real number on every robocallers list. Ebay plus Paypal will take about 15% in fees plus there is the hit from shipping. Even worse are the near zero seller protections. I only sell cheap stuff or low scam buyer risk items on eBay(ie low demand).

As for price. Looking at sold items on eBay in the UK. I'd put the high end at £ 600. Even that is optimistic. £ 550 is more realistic.

And if I discovered it was a cheap license from there or similar, that's £100 reduction in my initial offer.

Buy valid or don't include it at all.
