I wanna know what someone would pay for my rig if I were to put it up for sell. I don't wanna look like a fool selling my PC more than what it is worth. All posts are appreciated .

EVGA Nforce 750 sli FTW Motherboard

Not for us you don't. (if you post it on craigslist or ebay that may help sell it thou) We all more then understand what it's capable of.

The reason your getting lower budget prices is a used computer just isn't worth much. As soon as you build it and use it. It drops in value (usually by about half). Just like when you drive a new car off the lot. You may have paid 35k for that car but once those tires roll onto the street don't expect more then 18k from a dealership for trade in value.

Solution

I'll probably some day soon just do what you said and sell my old mobo and CPU to my friend. The whole setup only really cost me about $100.
 
I was going to type a nice, elaborate post pretty much saying the same thing everyone else said (with a lot more detail)... but then I saw everyone else already said the same thing and decided it wasn't worth it.
