How old do i have to be to become computer repair/build certified

I am 14 turning 15 in a few months.
I built my first computer when I was 10 alone and it was a success. I built many throughout and learned each function of each computer component like the cpu, gpu, mobo, ssd/hdd, etc. Now my local computer repair shop is hiring and so is a microcenter near me so I wondered if the computer repair/build certified will help me get the job? How old do I have to be and what else do I have to learn?

To get certified there is no limit. Your problem will be trying to get the job being under aged. A lot of companies won't hire you because of liability, and child labor laws. There are work arounds, but it's very difficult because most companies wont put up with the extra paper work. Find a local computer shop they'll help you out and will be more accommodating because they aren't regulated as harshly.

Here in NY the minimum age for a part time job is 14 and im planning to apply when im 15 or 16. So I can get the certification as of my age right?
