How old is w3i iq5 fraud

SpyBot just removed W3i.IQ5.fraud from my computer. I am trying to figure out if this is something that just recently found its way into my brand new laptop or if this is something that might have transferred itself off of my old external hard drive.

As stated above, it has already been removed. What I am asking is this: How long has this virus been around? How old is it?
