How outdated is a 9800 GTX+

I built my computer back in 2010-2011ish. It's running an intel i7 920, 12gb ram, and an Nvidia 9800GTX +. Is this card severely outdated? I've been out of the whole PC parts market for awhile, can anyone recommend a good card?

And you would be wrong to say that, if a game is DX11 only then that card wouldn't work.

Up until the past year, it ran pretty much every game I threw at it without problems. Its just time to upgrade lol. My motherboard is an X58 SLI LE, Power Supply is 750W. Budget wise, I'd prefer to stay around $200.

As the Maxwell cards are on the cusp of release I would say hang on for just a month or two longer to see if there is a decent mid to high end offering that is in your price range.
