How rare is it to get a water leak???

They just ran out for the hyper 212, so i tried looking for a better air cooler but none were as good as the hyper 212. So i looked into water cooling and was on sale. But i saw that some people have a water leak in their system.

So how rare is it and how does it occur?

Its very rare. Corsair will cover any damaged caused.

No air cooler was as good as the hyper 212? I don't know which water cooler you're looking at, but usually they start around $50-60usd and there are a ton of air coolers better than the 212 evo in that price range. Likely as good or better than any aio cooler you'll get in that price range.

Try a Noctua air cooler eg NH D15 - if it'll fit in your case.
