Does anybody have anything to say about how reliable Windows 2000 was?

Why? It is so old I can't imagine still using it.

That being said, I had 2000 on my laptop and it was very solid especially considering what else was out around then (Windows ME). It was especially good with networking which windows had problems with in their earlier iterations.

Pretty strong against system file corruption/deletion. Windows File Protection and Windows Update must have had a lot of updates to help keep the system at it's best.

I liked Windows 2000 as much as XP and Windows 7, very nice system that combined NT with Windows 98 gaming ability.
