Kanewolf makes brings up a very good point. You need to be certain your heatsink/fan isn't blocking the installation path. You also need to know if you need a low-profile or standard size network card.

according to MFG that H50015 is equipped w/ standard profile bracket, if you need low profile, version, pls purchase H50070 instead. H50070 is a low profile Gigabit PCI adapter.

Which case do you have?

It won't be slow as long as your internet isn't. It's better than that integrated unit.

You can't "pull out this thing" That "thing" is just the plug. The ethernet controller is a chip on the motherboard. You will have to add a network card or use a USB network adapter. USB2 can support 400Mbit so you won't get gigabit speeds but you should be able to get the 150.

Agreed.

You should have someone who is knowledgeable with PCs clean it out. That is a very dirty PC. Take a look at that thing under that fan. It's a heatsink. It helps to wick away heat from the CPU. The fan then helps to exhaust that hot air. BUT when it's clogged with dust, the heatsink can't breath and the PC could unexpectedly shutdown or other issues could arise.

PC will run cooler and quieter as well. That may not be a priority but as above states, it will help parts survive longer. Helps to clean PC every 6 months or so.

I assume you don't have a case windows in your Aerocool case. The giant fan on roof of case will be more efficient as well if its clean.

So, i should purchase that chip? Or speakin of USB, doesnt USB provide slower connection compared to chip?

A network card was suggested. Something like https://www.amazon.com/Intel-Gigabit-Network-Adapter-EXPI9301CTBLK/dp/B001CY0P7G might work but I am not seeing a PCIe slot. I think I might see a PCI slot peeking out from under the heatsink.

Make and model of motherboard? https://www.piriform.com/speccy/download can tell you if you don't know.

Thanks for answer mate. So, that white slot above blue slot(video card) is PCiE after all not PCI? All slots are PCIE? And whats the difference between 10$ and 60$ network adpaters? If i get one for 10$, will it be slow af? My current is Realtek
