At a forum I have read that eSATA cables and connectors are supposed to endure 5000 pluggging in and out. But cables and connectors for hard disk drives are supposed to endure only 50. There was a link as a proof there. But now it is broken.
It was leading to the site of Western digital. Could you help me find some similar official information?

The question is not about decency and price. And it is not about cables. It is about SATA connectors of drives. I'd like to have a look at some official information from a manufacturer, or SATA specification or something. It is a simple question: how many times a SATA connector of a drive is planned to endure.
