Question How seconds does the Boost last in a AMD Ryzen?

But has anyone some numbers (ballpark)?
It is 1 sec, 10, 100?

If you mean PBO it's in milliseconds per cycle. otherwise as long as it's needed by SW or reaches temperature or power limit.

I will use the CPU to compile code. The compiler is single threaded. It usually takes 2-3 seconds to compile a 100000 lines of code. So, I wonder if the boost clock will last that long.

Using the stock cooler it will boost that long on one core.
Using an upgraded cooler it will boost much longer.
Boost is determined by # of cores in use and temperature.
