how should i go about building this, just throw it all together and hope for the best or should i just hook up one gpu and 1 stick of ram and monitor and keyboard and make sure it posts then switch the gpu and test the other ram sticks or how would you guys go about this build? any help to make sure my machine runs good would be much apreciated

Them. You nailed it. That's the gaming rig of the day.

Search for "diy pc" at youtube. Grab some chips & a coke. If you like, you can build the barebone of the mobo, cpu, hsf, ram & 1 gpu on the mobo box on a desk & see if everything goes well. Hook up the psu to the wall socket, switch it to off, touch it once in a while during the build.
