I want to be able to play games such as Battlefield V and Borderlands 3 at or near recommended specs. As I have a 4K monitor, it would be nice to utilize it as such as well. Thanks!

You are basically building a new pc and if you want to run those games at 4K you are wanting a 2080Ti.

You can reuse the storage and Windows, you might be able to reuse your case if the gpu isn’t too big but everything else needs upgrading. What is your budget? 4K 60fps is not cheap.

Do you think it's even worthwhile to upgrade to 4K options at this time from a cost standpoint or is that something to worry about in the distant future (i.e. are prices not going to change drastically any time soon? is the value there currently?)?

In that case, what are good upgrade options without going 4K? I'd say my budget is $1000-1500. I don't need the best of the best. Thanks for the reply!
