I am setting my computer up for gaming mostly but will have programs such as Adobe CS6 as well.
I have been ordering parts and will have 3 drives: 2 SSD's and 1 HDD
Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Hitachi Ultrastar 7K3000 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

These are the drives I have and the plan is to Have 120gb for Win7 OS, Microsoft Office, Adobe
The 250gb for the game loading and the 2tb for files/music/movies
So.. 120 boot drive, 250 game drive and 2tb file drive

I am wondering if this is a worthwhile set up?

Have you already ordered things? It's not really worth getting a separate SSD for OS and Apps, SSDs are so crazy fast anyway that it'll never make a difference. The cost of a 120 & 250 must be approaching the cost of a 500GB model, so why not just get one of those?

If you've already ordered, then don't worry, it'll work just fine.
