How should I install my SLI bridge?

I just received my second Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming video card and I have my doubts about how to install my SLI bridge. Despite that I don't have any HB SLI bridges I would like to ask if I will get similar results installing two regular bridges, one in each of the connectors. Another question that I have regards MSI Afterburner software. I noticed that Afterburner recognizes just one GPU and I was wondering if this is normal. Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes you can install 2 regular bridges. That should give you the same performance as an HB bridge.

And I belive you will only see difference on 1080ti and Titan cards to be honest. The 1070 is just not fast enough.
