How should i know if a fan pulls or pushes air?

Hey im making a computer and i was reading about adequate airflow and i have no idea how to identify pull or push fans.

Are my fans push or pull?

Fans are push or pull depending on how they're mounted. There should be an arrow somewhere on the fan that indicates the direction of flow.

General rule is the ground of the fans pulls the air in, the front is usually the side without the struts that hold the motor in place but there is an arrow. Short of that you can wire it up and feel what way the air goes

Also, the side with the sticker/label is the sucking side. Usually.

Why, its a perfectly reasonable question for someone who hasn't spent much time poking around inside a computer, whats obvious for some might not be obvious for others.

In all the fans 've owned, the sticker is on the side that expels the air.
