How should I mount/connect my GPU?

Hi, I recently purchased an AIO water-cooled 980ti, but can’t fit it into my h110m motherboard due to the x16 PCIE port’s plastic piece having come off. I have decided to probably purchase a riser such as this one http:// , but am unsure how I will go about mounting my GPU in my case with this as it cannot be directly attached to my motherboard. What is my best option of mounting my GPU, and is using a riser/adapter to get around my problem the best / cheapest way of doing it?
