Hi there, I have brand new RX360 and RX240 and I'm wondering what is the best way to rinse them. I read a few posts online and saw a few youtube videos and there seems to be many options:

1) rinse ~5 times with distilled water (until nothing comes out)
2) rinse ~5 with tap water + last 2 times with distilled water
3) boil distilled water and rinse ~5 times
4) boil tap water and rinse ~5 times + last 2 times with distilled
5) mix water with vinegar 3:1 and rinse + 2 with distilled water
6) mix water with vinegar 9:1 and rinse + 2 with distilled water
7) mix water with vinegar 3:1 and leave it in overnight, then rinse ~2 times with distilled water

My question is, would any of these do, are any preferred to any others. Are any discouraged?

Thank you

Hi

I've just been rinsing an XSPC RX480 V3 and I just half filled it with deionised water (difficult to get distilled cheaply in UK) a few times and shook it for a couple of minutes. Practically nothing came out (same as my last radiator, an Alphacool UT560). I think the manufacturers are far better at cleaning their products prior to sale than they used to be.

Hope this helps

I'd personally put aside 5l of distilled, fill the rad with distilled and covering all ports, shake it like hell to loosen any crud from manufacturing, empty and rinse, then build the rad into a simple loop outside the case and run into a bucket and filter the tubing that returns from the bucket to the loop, run the loop for a few hours and that will get most if not every bit of crap out of them before the build proper
