So i'm looking to upgrade my PC and wanted the forums opinion on what i should get(my budget is flexible but i don't want to spend ridiculous amounts of money).I also do need a new graphics card cause i think my other one is dead i was looking at 980's but someone told me that my other parts couldn't handle it.

My build right now:
Case: Haf 912
Motherboard:Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H
CPU:intel i-5 3570k @ 3.4GHz
CPU Cooler: Asetek 510lc 120mm liquid cooling
GPU:Cause I think my gtx660ti is dead right now i'm using onboard graphics
Ram: pretty sure it's 8Gb of Kingston
PSU: TX 850 watts
SSD: Crucial 120gb
HDD:2TB Black Western digital

I appreciate any suggestions

What do you think I should get? Will my computer handle a 980? (In regards to the GPU I want something stronger than a 660ti that i had before and want to stay nvidia).

one more question do you think i should get more fans for the haf 912 i only have one 120mm intake in the front and dual fans(one being the liquid cooling one and the other being the normal case fan) in the top back which is outtake. I usually get good temps around 30-50C but sometimes it gets really hot because my room is also really hot

If temps are fine, i wouldnt add another fan but as you said that temps sometimes get really high i would consider adding an intake fan.

Tip- If you dont have a lot of HDDs take the top HDD cage out of your case and put the HDDs in the bottom HDD case so cage wont block Fans air flow
