How should I use the free respec

Okay, I've taken this char quickly from 0 to 36 (5 weeks, i have no
life), but with the new free respec I'm wondering if there is a way
to improve his damage capabilities.

This is a ma/regen scrapper, and I like to play him as a damage
machine, as much as a char can be played as a damage make.

At the 34th respec, I screwed up, and grabbed Cobra Strike (minore
damage, 100% distort), but the Damage per minute really went down
because I put damage slots in it. So, my current build is:

Archetype: Scrapper
Primary Powers - Melee : Martial Arts
Secondary Powers - Defense : Regeneration

Level 1 : Storm Kick /Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg
Level 1 : Fast Healing /Heal
Level 2 : Cobra Strike /Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg
Level 4 : Quick Recovery /EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec
Level 6 : Hasten /Rchg,Rchg,Rchg,Rchg,Rchg,Rchg
Level 8 : Air Superiority /Acc
Level 10 : Swift /Run
Level 12 : Hurdle /Jump
Level 14 : Fly /Fly
Level 16 : Integration /EndRdx,EndRdx
Level 18 : Boxing /Acc,Dmg
Level 20 : Tough /DamRes,EndRdx,EndRdx,EndRdx,EndRdx,EndRdx
Level 22 : Resilience /DamRes
Level 24 : Stamina /EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec
Level 26 : Dragon's Tail /Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg
Level 28 : Instant Healing /Heal,Heal,EndRdx,EndRdx,EndRdx,EndRdx
Level 30 : Super Speed /Run
Level 32 : Eagle's Claw /Acc,Dmg,Dmg
Level 35 : Focus Chi /Rchg

I would like to make this char as someone that can put out the
moderate damage on a consistant basis, but not play him as a tank
wannabe.

So, I was thinking of him as this for the free respec:

Level 1 : Storm Kick /Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg
Level 1 : Fast Healing /Heal
Level 2 : Thunder Kick /Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg
Level 4 : Quick Recovery /EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec
Level 6 : Boxing /Dmg
Level 8 : Air Superiority /Dmg
Level 10 : Hasten /Rchg,Rchg,Rchg,Rchg,Rchg,Rchg
Level 12 : Swift /Run
Level 14 : Tough /EndRdx,EndRdx,EndRdx,EndRdx,EndRdx,DamRes
Level 16 : Integration /EndRdx,EndRdx,Empty
Level 18 : Hurdle /Jump
Level 20 : Stamina /EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec
Level 22 : Fly /Fly
Level 24 : Resilience /DamRes
Level 26 : Dragon's Tail /Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg
Level 28 : Instant Healing /EndRdx,EndRdx,EndRdx,EndRdx,Heal,Heal
Level 30 : Super Speed /EndRdx
Level 32 : Eagle's Claw /Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg
Level 35 : Dull Pain(Regen) /EndRdx,EndRdx,EndRdx,EndRdx,Heal

Currently, this char is 65k out of 37, so I'm thinking of respec'ing
him after he hits 37.

I'm not really fond of the jumping pool, as the coordination of
superjump is a little bit difficult for me (I really don't have the
hand eye coordination). I took speed and fly because although fly
doesn't have the speed, speed doesn't have the vertical.

As to the inherent powers, I don't add slots to them, and usually use
either boxing instead of brawl, or Air Supereiority instead of brawl.

Any and all comments are welcome, especially from Xocyll, as he has
taken his scrapper higher then I.

First off, you've forgotten that part of your healing ability is in
integration now, something like 1/5th so it will probably need to be
slotted up too.

Personally in my last shuffling around I skipped thunderkick completely,
since with perma hasten, I had a steady chain of AS-SK-CK-AS-SK-EC.

You WANT to have crane kick - yeah the knockback is a slight pain, but
it's your second highest damage attack after eagle's claw.
Sometime that knockback (especially in combination with AS's knockdown)
can keep otherwise nasty mobs down and out for most of combat.
Considering how hard some things hit before I3 boosted boss damage,
that's a point to consider.

Thunderkick and air superiority do exactly the same damage so I just
subbed AS in for TK in the regular MA attacks and it worked well.
Never tried Cobra Strike - doubt I ever will - consistent damage was
more important to me as a soloer than being able to disorient something
for a couple microseconds.

My last build - pre issue3 so no epic pools included was:

Level 1 : Storm Kick /Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,EndRdx
Level 1 : Fast Healing /Heal
Level 2 : Reconstruction /Heal
Level 4 : Quick Recovery /EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec
Level 6 : Air Superiority /Acc,Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,EndRdx
Level 8 : Hasten /Rchg,Rchg,Rchg,Rchg,Rchg,Rchg
Level 10 : Focus Chi /Rchg,Rchg,Rchg,Rchg,Rchg,Rchg
Level 12 : Crane Kick /Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,EndRdx
Level 14 : Hurdle /Jump
Level 16 : Swift /Run
Level 18 : Integration /EndRdx,EndRdx
Level 20 : Stamina /EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec
Level 22 : Fly /Fly,Fly,Fly,Fly
Level 24 : Boxing /Empty
Level 26 : Tough /EndRdx,DamRes,DamRes,DamRes,DamRes,DamRes
Level 28 : Instant Healing /EndRdx,EndRdx,Heal,Heal,Heal,Heal
Level 30 : Dragon's Tail /Acc,Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,EndRdx
Level 32 : Eagle's Claw /Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,EndRdx
Level 35 : Dull Pain(Regen) /Rchg,Rchg,Rchg,Rchg
Level 38 : Resilience /DamRes,DamRes,DamRes,DamRes,DamRes,DamRes
Level 41 : Revive /Rchg
Level 44 : Moment Of Glory /Rchg
Level 47 : Hover /EndRdx
Level 49 : Super Speed /EndRdx

With I3 live now, i'd have to do some shuffling around to find 4 sockets
for integration - i'd probably take them from Focus Chi (which got
slotted up in the end game or take 3 from flight and put up with it
being slower, maybe drop some out of dragon's tail.

While DT is an AOE, it's a pretty low damage one (same as TK/AS) and I
really used it more to knock things down to slow down incoming hits
than I did to actually hurt them, so I could easily pull 4 sockets off
it for integration and not really miss them.

For epic pools i'm not sure what i'd take. I was attracted to the body
mastery one for the accuracy toggle, but it has absolutely INSANE
endurance costs. Conserve power _might_ help with that, but since it's
not a toggle, that means one more thing to juggle.

Yeah I socketed 2 acc and an end reducer per attack;
I hate missing, and I hate waiting for endurance to recover (and when
you fight things like AVs and Monsters solo [back when you could] you
WILL run out of end even on a regen scrapper with QR+stamina.
Bosses new higher hp makes those fights stretch pretty long too so
endurance may be a concern for you too.

I hate being tied to inspirations to pick up the slack since it's not
always convenient to buy them, and you don't always get the ones you
need from drops. Every time I needed cabs, I got everything but cabs.

I don't necessarily recommend it for anyone else, since my play style
probably isn't the same as yours, and my slotting does result in lower
damage per hit.
It worked for me, it may not work for you.
I did end up as pretty much a perpetual motion machine, so the lower
damage didn't matter to me since I was going to outlast anything.

You might be able to salvage Cobra Strike and hold on to that respec
for awhile. Remove all damage add disorient and recharge.

Most people don't but I use Cobra Strike all the time.

Why did you pick it up?

This is one of the reasons that I enjoy this game so much, the community
involvement.

It is better than the peer mentoring that is supposed to happen at work.

Thank you for your suggestions.

I started with crane kick, and respec'd it out at 24 when i started with
fighting, didn't like that and again respec'd it out at 34, but that is
when I garbbed Cobra Strike and slotted it for damage. I should have just
put an accuracy in it and kept the slots for damage on my other kicks.

As I read about resislience tho, it says that it picks up strength the
longer you have it, sort of like fly, so I think I'll still grab that when
it first opens.

Slotting it for disorient duration can be powerful. 2 Acc, 1
Recharge, and 3 Disorient is good. Like most other attacks, Cobra
Strike is far, far better when it's fully slotted. With just one
accuracy, I would venture to say you will think it is worthless.
Damage enhancements don't help it either. 😉

Fly get more powerful the higher level you are, not the longer
you have it. A character who gets it at level 40 will fly just as
fast as one who had it since level 14.
