Just moved to new house and I want to have my computer connected to the internet by ethernet but the only problem is i can't find the necessary drivers online and gigabyte won't let me install the download centre.

i have a GA-Z170X-Gaming 3 motherboard if that helps at all.

I believe that what you are saying is the you wish to connect to the internet through LAN cable instead of by wireless. Not sure how driver status is impacting your ability to connect, there might be another issue at play here.

Don't know what Windows you are running but the best way to see the status of your system components is through the "Device Manager". This can be found in your Control Panel. Right clicking the device in question will bring up the properties and status of the device, including driver status.

You can go directly to Gigabytes website to see what drivers are available for download.
