How the hell do I remove the metal slots on the back of my PC?

Haha. Sorry for this ridiculous question, but how do I remove these bars from my computer? I need to remove two for my new video card.


When I push them in from the outside, the motherboard seems to be holding it from the bottom. When I push then from the inside, the slots barely move.

Any ideas?

They should be tighten with something like a screw or even a tool-free something usually from the inside. When you remove them you can easily remove those bars. What's you case?

I have an Inspiron 560 case.

On that case you need to remove the outside screw on the right of the bars (that holds those bars in place, between those what look like metal bubbles). When you remove it you should be able to remove your bars by hand.

Then when you are done put it back so it can hold your GPU in place.
