How ti use ram at 2133mhz

I bought the G.Skill Ram 8gb (2x4) 2133mhz and Msi Z87M Gaming. My question was if I needed to overclock my ram since on my mobo it says "supports 2133mhz OC" to use it at that frequency and if I have to, could I damage it?
Ps: please tell me how to overclock it before I destroy my computer

Not sure what CPU but if it's a K model, should be able to run by simply going into the BIOS and enabling XMP select profile 1 and boot to Win. If any problems let us know the actual model # of the DRAM and what CPU

Same here. Same ram ish so I enabled xmp, stressed, and failed. Tradesman is helping me on another post but this stuff is finiky as hell.

If XMP doesn't work by itself, enable XMP, and raise DRAM voltage + 0.05 over spec

Im not sure i want ram running ay 1.7v... I know its "safe", i just dont like the idea. I dont want to run it at 1.65 either but i would to be stable. So id rather readjust the timings to run at 1.5-.55v. Currently at 1866/9-9-9-28+1T/@1.55v and stable is this decent? Im also trying to get my proc to 4.7ish and is being a pain to achieve.

Try a small OC on the CPU and then try under XMP (the "OC" on the mobo specs indicates you may need a OC of the MC (memory controller) and or CPU
