Hey, I recently was gifted a HP Pavillion PC by my Dad. When I first got it I was trying to run the trending game right now, Fortnite. While running the game it was very pixelated and the graphics were horrible. Does anyone know how and what I will need to make this Desktop PC run a little bit closer to a Gaming PC. My budget for this project is around $170.(FYI if you couldn't tell I don't really anything about hardware or PC's in general just looking for some help)

Some of the new mini-tower Pavilion desktops have the OS on an M.2 SSD, with an HDD for more storage. Consequently because of space constraints there are no PCI Express expansion slots provided - - - - so upgrading to gaming spec on one of those is a non-starter.

So that needs checking first - - does it have any PCI Express slots.

Slap a gt 1030 in there for $80 bucks.. you get to keep $100.. (or use it to upgrade ram to 8GB if it isn't).

Would help alot if you post your HP model.

For example, mine is the HP Slimline 400-235d
