[SOLVED] How to access 10TB of unallocated space?

I just put a 12TB SATA Seagate Exos hard drive in a new build. When I booted into windows and started trying to unallocate the space on the drive, I was only able to access 2TB of storage, just leaving the other 10TB lying there like a log. How do I get that space?
Here are specs if you need them:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700
GTX 1650 super
ASrock B450M Pro4
Crucial MX500 509gb sata ssd
Intel 660p series 2TB NVMe ssd
Seagate Exos 12TB sata hard drive
Seasonic prime gold 550w power supply

Try formatting it as GPT.

In DIsk Management, reformat is as GPT.

If you used MBR instead of GPT you will only be able to access 2TB.

Try formatting it as GPT.

How do I format is at GPT? Sorry. I’ve never worked with hard drives further than formatting multiple.
Edit: also, what’s the difference between the two? Will I have to format the other drives to GPT if I do it to just one?

DELETE all partitions and volumes on it.
THen, right click should give you the option to reformat.

But follow only the Disk Manager method. You will lose data if not backed up but you won't be needing any third party software to do that.

The actions you're taking only affect the new drive.
Of course, be very very careful in Disk Management, as to which specific drive and partition you are accessing.

No, only data on New Drive will be lost.
As USAFRet quoted be careful when choosing the drive to delete.
