How to access data from a broken Xperia M2?

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I was given a Sony Xperia M2 Phone who was broken. My customer fell off her bicycle and broke the screen of the Phone completely. When booting the device, the screen lights up slightly.

Fortunately for the customer, she received a new Phone that same day, but now she wants to get all her data off the Xperia M2. When I plug the Phone in my PC, it says that the Xperia M2 is detected, but it doesn't show any folders/data inside the Phone, and I believe that that's because of the security, you need to enter a PIN code in order to bypass the lock screen, and I think that that keeps the data from being shown on my PC.

Do you guys have any idea on how to bypass this, so I can get all the data from the Phone?

Here's a screenshot of the phone's folder:

Here's a picture of the Phone itself plugged into the computer, as you can see, there's a little red light showing on the top of the Phone:

Here's a picture that shows that Sony software detects the Phone:

UPDATE:
I have the PIN of the customer, it's just so that I can't enter it on the Phone, because the screen isn't showing anything at all.

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Frank.

How to "bypass the security" ?
Ask your customer for the PIN if that is what is needed.

This is great, thanks an awful lot! I will try these steps provied in the link.
I called Sony asking for any solutions to this issue, but they told me there was no way I could fix it.
It's an Android, ofcourse I can fix this, right?
