how to access files on a usb EFI partition

I have important files saved on a usb EFI partition. I updated from windows 1607 to 1709 and I cant access them. it doesn't show up in file explorer, but it does show up in disk management. I tried doing this

does anyone know how I can get my files?

Your description of the problem you're experiencing is virtually incomprehensible. It would be best if you would submit a screenshot of Disk Management which includes the "problem drive" that's involved here.
