Windows 10 has gained popularity in less time owing to the varied range of advanced personalization and security features. This version of the operating system offers extended support to universal applications. In Windows 10, focus assist is used in managing the notifications from all applications and software. You can modify the notification settings according to your choice, you can either switch it off or allow notifications from only certain apps and many more notification customization options are present. Here is how you access the focus assist settings in the Windows 10 system.
Single-click the Windows start icon
Firstly, Single-click the Windows start icon . You can find the icon on the left side of the taskbar. You can also press the ‘Window start’ button on your keyboard.
Click the ‘Settings’
In the start menu option, click the ‘settings’ as shown below. In the settings, you will find many of the system and device-related setting options.
Click ‘System’ setting option
In the settings window, you will notice settings for the system, devices, phone, personalization’s, apps, Cortana, etc. Here choose the ‘System’ option.
Click the ‘Focus assist’ option
In the ‘System settings’ option, choose the ‘Focus assist’ option. The focus assist settings are used in managing the Windows 10 notifications.
Select the ‘Notification setting’
As shown in the below pic, you can click the ‘Off’ option to switch off the notifications from all apps. You can select the ‘Alarms only’ option to hide all the notifications except for the alarms.
