How to activate expired Windows 10

I've been running the free Insider Preview version of Windows for a long time but now I need to buy Windows. Only thing is that when booting my computer, Windows can't boot because it has expired and therefore I'm wondering how to activate it. Any ideas?

Hi there.
Even if the Preview edition has expired, it should allow you to boot. From there you will need to go to All Settings and Update and let the system update to the latest build. Once done, you should have a valid licensed copy. Beware, big downloads ahead if you running an older build.

Ok, but I can't boot Windows at all. I get this error message.

Your PC/Device needs to be repaired

A component of the operating system has expired

Error code: 0xc0000605

You'll need to use recovery tools. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your PC administrator or PC/Device manufacturer."

It would seem that your preview build has expired.
