How to ad a new disk to three disks raid 5 sistem

I need to increase my hard disk capacity adding a new 2 TB disk to an existing three 2 TB raid 5 system.
Can I just simply intall it and the system will recognize it or do I have to rebuilt all the existing system?

Well neither. This depends on if you have a onboard raid controller or not. If this is a server say a Dell with Perc card it is easy. Just add the disk to the raid 5 in the raid setup. Buuut after that is done and it might take a while you will need to get a partition manager software like paragon partition manager or something like that and then expand the partition to use the space you just added.
