How to Add a Fax/Printer to Windows 10

I have a networked Epson workforce 635 printer/scanner/fax. From Win 10, I can print to it fine, but can't find how to send/receive a fax.

Is the device connected to the telephone line? If you still have the driver and software disk that came with it, run that in Windows 10. You may find the manufacturers haven't updated drivers to work in Windows 10.

Sadly, a new version of Windows is the excuse for the manufacturers to drop older equipment to force you to buy new.

Thanks for trying to help. I found the problem: Win 10 knew the hardware as a printer, but not as a fax, when I set up Win 10 initially. I went to the Epson web site, found a Win 10 Fax utility for the device, downloaded and installed it, and voilà! I went to print something, selected Epson Fax, and it started to work!
