How to add a user to a domain

So I have a user on the computer but I cant logon to the domain using this account. Is there a way to add this user to the domain using cmd or another method? Im using windows 7

Yes you would need to talk to the admin. They would have to 1) Make a new user on the domain server. 2) Logon to that user to have it make a new user profile. now that profile will NOT have anything from the other user. If the stuff from the other user needs to be on that new account (Local and Domain users have DIFFERENT profiles even if the username is the same). They would then 3) need to copy the user profile from the old user to the new user. Now that domain user will have all the files from the old local user.
