I misplaced this message, I should've added it to Windows...

Hi.

I'd like to connect a bluetooth phone headset (e.g. Jabra Storm) to my PC through a bluetooth 2.0 USB dongle to continuously listen to all system sounds (error sounds, notifications, online radio etc.).

... I suppose I can do that, right? I need to have all the system audio right in my ear, without the need for monitor speakers, or any other speakers. But I also need to overlay my voice / add my voice over the system's audio.

So, I'd like to be able to speak into a microphone connected to the PC, and hear myself in the headset through the same bluetooth connection together with all the whatever other system sounds there are (notifications, playing music etc.).

How can I do that?

So long as the dongle is both a transmitter and receiver, I don't see any issue with what you're desiring. You would need to make sure that your headset is visible and set to the default device for audio playback in the Windows sound control panel and the base mic (if that's what you're using to record) set up as default on the record side.

As for hearing your own voice over the headset, that too should be a setup option in the sound settings for that device. It shouldn't be any different than using a USB headset as I do in my estimation. If someone else wants to chime in to add info or correct my statements, feel free.
