My Son and I put a computer togather a little less than two years ago. He plays a few games an now has a Crucial BX200 2.5" 240GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT240BX200SSD1. He wants to use this for his games to make it faster and save everthing else on the now primary drive. The motherboard is a AsRock Z87 Pro 4 and I would like to know what is the best way to do what he wants to do?
I'm not sure where or how plug them in or how to even to began? Can you help me, Please

You can use that cable that has multiple SATA powers plugs.
There are plenty of guides online in either articles or videos.
Note you need your window product key beforehand if you want to do a clean install of windows.
Ideally, doing a clean install of windows is better but you do have an option to clone your old drive to the SSD.
Your SSD is just a standard 2.5" drive, you put it into a drive cage. You would need a SATA 3 cable and a SATA power cable (from your power supply). The SATA 3 cable is for connecting the SSD to the motherboard's sata ports. The SATA power cable is for power.

Is there some place that tells me step by step on the windows clean install?
I have both cables, the cable that has extra plugs that is connected to my current hard drive, can I use that cable or should I use a different one?
