How to apply thermal paste as5 on core2quad Q8200?

i am totally confused after having research in internet every site suggest different methord to apply which one is best dont know please help me
i want that my processor should be fully covered with the paste and there should be no gap or void area left without the past on the surface of contact btw processor and heatsink...

Just put a small dab about the size of a grain of rice in the middle and mount the cooler. The pressure of the heatsink and the heat from the CPU will cause the paste to flow and spread out. No need to overthink it.

is there is manual from Intel on how to apply thermal paste on INTEL Q8200 processor
