Hi everybody,
I have a couple of PC parts that I want to sell individually, but there is a problem that I don't know how to assure someone that the parts are working.
Any ideas?

I am %100 percent sure that my parts are totally working.
Note: I don't have another build to test them.

Solution
Absolutely a good idea!
But let's say the client is a n00b and suddenly fries the GPU for example. lol
what to do? :p
Or a scammer:
He buys your working part
Claims faulty
Sends you back a broken one
Refund AND he keeps the working part.

Just part of the risks selling online.

Record serial numbers. Date stamped pics are useful there.

Provide them a 7 day return or something. That is what a retailer might do.

Any parts I sold, I marked with a UV pen in an inconspicuous spot, not easily visible if used in a pc with a blacklight. So on gpus, that was on the shroud directly above the pcb pins, on ram it was on the pins themselves. Back of the motherboard, underside of the heatsink etc.

Refunds for not working were not offered without satisfaction of my marking. Which the buyer was not informed of.

Normally I'd grab a picture of the full working pc before disassembly, so that pic would cover any part as proof of working.
