How to aura sync CM ML120R RGB

Can I just put the 3 way ARGB splitter directly to the ad header of my motherboard which is 5 volts? then connect it to ML120R to achieve aura sync? I dont want to use any controllers or firmwares.

if your motherboard is an ASUS AURA board or AURA compatible and the ML120R is addressable and not proprietary RGB then should be able to configure and control RGB right from AURA SYNC software.

Won't know until you try I guess.
