I am almost always switching between being plugged-in and unplugged when using my laptop, and I want a setting that switches to balanced when unplugged, and high performance when plugged in. My laptop has never had any bugs, but I'm constantly using all my RAM (6GB), CPU and GPU when gaming, Would High Performance fix this? I have never done an overclock, but I doubt overheating or battery issues should be a problem.

well, i am very good at using a computer, and am quite fast, but I am not very good at going through advanced settings, can u please tell me more instructions?

The functionality isn't built into Windows to do what you are asking. However, you can make things a little easier. You can create a shortcut to various power profiles, and shortcuts in Windows can have hotkey combinations assigned to them.

Here is a link to a site with instructions for creating shortcuts to Windows power profiles, then assigning hotkeys to them:

Create a Shortcut or Hotkey to Switch Power Plans

u can use bigpinkdragon286's way to make shortcuts so u will have ez access to change your power plan.
for the graphic setting, depending on your GPU, click RMB, u should find the option for your GPU control panel (nvidia control panel / AMD control center / Intel ....)
