I am building a server using i.a. an A7V600 ASUS mainboard. I don't intend
to
have a keyboard, mouse nor screen on it; besides the server box is to be
mounted in a fairly unaccesible place of my house.
I am annoyed by the power-up self-tests. These detect hat there is no
keyboard (which is correct) and then display the rather hilarious message:
"Keyboard error or no keyboard present. Press F1 to continue, or DEL to
enter setup".
Guess what you need to press F1 )
I have gone through the AwardBIOS (ver 1006) BIOS settings over and over but
failed to find an option to neutralise this self-test.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.
