Reinhardt can be a tough nut to crack, he is one of the toughest tanks in the game and can absorb a lot of punishment, and prevent a lot of it from ever touching him or his team with his barrier. He can be dealt with by using the proper tactics though.
Step 1)Attack from multiple angles.
If you can attack him from two directions at once, with even just one of your team mates cooperating with you, you can bring him down. His barrier is the biggest thing stopping you from killing him, but he can only have it facing one direction at a time. If he's got two directions to block from, he can be brought down and then he can't protect his team.
Step 2)Explosions!
The area of effect damage of explosions can actually deal damage to targets behind his shield sometimes, and typically deal a good deal of damage to the shield itself. They can be a great way to apply enough pressure to Reinhardt to make him have to back off an let his shield replenish, resulting in nothing being gained at the moment. Keep that up and he'll be running into a stalemate.
Step 3)Death from above.
There are a lot of heroes that can get up to higher vantage points easily, use the height to your advantage against Reinhardt, he can only position his shield directly in front of him, he can't tilt it up. If you can get up high enough you can shoot over his shield and pick off the team he is supposed to be protecting, without a team to protect, Reinhardt can't do much on his own really.
