How to block a a certain subscriber?

Sorry if this is in the wrong category, but I have a family member who's subscribed to my youtube channel and i want to be able to somehow block him from getting notifications and being able to go onto my channel, how can i do that?

Since anonymous users (not logged in) can access any public channel or video, the only way you can prevent someone from seeing your content is to make it either unlisted or private.
