How to block internet access

Hello,
Is there a way i can block internest from my computer while I'm not home so those wont use it until i get home to connect it back on both wireless and regular connection?

Go into the router's settings and disconnect from ISP (for how see literature which came with the router or download manual from maker's site)

Apply a new password to the router's setup screens login (that's the first login you see when you try to access the router settings) so that no one but you can reconnect to the ISP.
