How to block malware/malicious sites or programs through Windows Firewall???

Hi I want to know how to block any malicious sites or programs that is trying to get inside my system....Is there a way to block them using Ports in Windows Firewall??? I saw some videos regarding port blocking on firewall but didn't understand properly about it...My Firewalls are on all the time but how come malicious programs get into my computer even if I'm using anti-virus? Plzzz I really need help with blocking malicious programs through ports if possible....

You can use a free firewall that's better than the windows firewall, like Comodo and ZoneAlarm. For antivirus you can use AVG and Avast, that's the most common and well known antivirus programs. On top of that you can use Malwarebyte, it's a stand-alone program. If Malwarebytes doesn't find any viruses, you probably don't have any ;)
The program would have to be installed. Programs just dont infect you if you go online

If malicious programs are on your system, you probably installed them. People do with free programs. They dont select a custom install and the program will install adware

Theyre not trying to get inside theyre already installed. And running
