I have a laptop running windows 10, it is a Toshiba satellite l10w-b. I want to upgrade its 5400RPM HDD to an SSD. It doesn't have a disc drive. would I be able to simply plug in a windows 10 drive and enter the product key or to I have to go through BIOS settings.

Solution
If you created it through the Media Creation Tool, it should be plug and play. At worst, you'll have to go through the boot menu and select it. Should not need to go into BIOS.
