How to boot in Windows 7?

i'm gonna dual boot Windows 7 and XP. but i don't know what is the meaning of Boot XP install. i don't know how to do that one.
I have Gigabyte 3D Bios. i Have USB. i know everything except the part to "boot" please help

there will be a small problem as xp uses ide sata mode and win7 uses ahci mode, you can install in ide mode, but you will get performance and compatibility issues

to install in dual boot, first install win xp in one partition and later install win7 in another partition
plz do not install win7 first and do not forget to set the sata mode to ide or native in BIOS
