How to bring the price down on a gaming PC

I am on a 1400$ budget.

Do u really need the back up case? Not to be rude but what is it for?

- Get an FX 8320. Exactly the same processor, just underclocked. (you can overclock it to 8350 speeds on your own).
- Get a cheaper fan. There are other silent ones for less than $10.
- Get a 3.5" hard drive. Much cheaper.
- You don't need antivirus if you don't go on sketchy websites. But even a free one (AVG, Avast) will protect better than Mcafee.

Why do you need a backup case...?

... or use free software - Linux, LibreOffice, any free antivirus
You might skip on wireless adapter if you can connect using wired Ethernet
You can get cheaper hard drive, and start with 4gb RAM insteadof 8gb
You can use stock coolers and not try to impress your friends with megaherts and FPSs
You can definitely get cheaper videocard (see previous line)

Dump Mcafee and the backup case. and switch to a FX-8230 and a GTX 760

You could switch to Google Drive for office. It's much easier to use and free. They recently added a plugins feature which should make it a real Office competitor too.
